After reading Knight (the first in the Unfinished Hero series) I was extremely excited when Creed, book #2, came out. While I can't say that this is one of my favorite KA books, or that it's even in my top 15, there was defiantly some things that I liked about this book. Mostly being that Knight's reoccurring appearances. I think that I liked him more in this book then I did in his own book.
But back to Creed and Sylvie. It took me several days to finish this book, which is unusual, because I usually just gobble up KA's books in about a day! I would read a little and put it down to read something else, then come back to it. I think my biggest problem with this book was that I didn't really care about either Creed or Sylvie. I tried, I really did, but I found myself caring more about the secondary characters then I did about them. I loved Knight, as I already mentioned, but I also found myself loving the friendship that Sylvie, and then Creed, had with with her next door neighbor and her children (one of whom was special needs).
This book was just ok for me. Probably wouldn't read it again, but it doesn't make me love KA any less.
